Administration

The collegiate hospital, established in 2018, currently functions with an Outpatient Department (OPD) comprising 4 units and an Inpatient Department (IPD) with 50 beds, supported by all essential basic diagnostic facilities to provide quality patient care.

In addition to the General OPD units, the hospital offers specialized healthcare services through dedicated departments including Paediatrics, Dental, Physiotherapy, and Ophthalmology, ensuring comprehensive treatment for patients.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Supervision of General OPDs and speciality clinics.
  • Administration of the Inpatient Department (IPD).
  • Management of diagnostic facilities and hospital dispensary.
  • Monitoring and coordination of Peripheral Health Centers (PHCs).
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day hospital operations.

Dr. R. N. Arul, MD (Hom), Medical Superintendent, oversees the overall administration of the hospital. He is responsible for organizing the duties of hospital staff, coordinating clinical postings of medical officers, undergraduate students, and internees in the hospital, Peripheral Health Centers (PHCs), and tie-up hospitals.

He also plans and supervises medical camps, preventive healthcare programmes, community outreach activities, and other public health initiatives whenever required.
