BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathy Medicine and Surgery)

The BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate degree program in Homoeopathy recognized by the National Commission for Homoeopathy.

The course consists of 4½ years of academic study followed by 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship, making the total duration 5½ years.

Admission Capacity

The sanctioned intake for the BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) course is 100 seats per academic year.

  • All India Quota + Government Quota: 65 Seats
    • Includes 7.5% reservation for Government School students
  • Management Quota: 35 Seats

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission must have:

  • Passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) / CBSE or equivalent in one and the same attempt.
  • Studied any one of the following subject combinations:
    • Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
    • OR
    • Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
  • Qualified in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
  • Improvement marks will not be considered.
