Extension Activities

Community Activities

Shri Barani Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital extends its healthcare services not only to patients attending the collegiate hospital but also to people living in remote and rural areas. The institution actively fulfills its social responsibility through various extension and outreach programmes that promote preventive healthcare and community well-being.

Community outreach activities include awareness programmes, rallies, invited talks, distribution of health pamphlets, street plays, medical camps, health surveys, and free distribution of medicines for the benefit of the public.

Health programmes identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) are regularly observed both within and outside the campus. The institution actively participates in national health programmes, preventive healthcare initiatives, and provides medical services to underserved communities, including those living in remote and hilly regions.

Mother & Child Health Care

The college organizes dedicated health and awareness camps focusing on maternal and child health. These initiatives aim to improve nutritional status, promote hygiene, and provide preventive Homeopathic care to mothers and infants in surrounding rural communities.

  • Regular maternal health check-ups and nutrition counseling.
  • Awareness drives on anemia prevention and infant healthcare.
  • Distribution of preventive Homeopathic medicines for common pediatric and maternal health issues.
